Tips To Control Drinking

To keep your drinking under control:

  1. Monitor how much alcohol you drink by setting limits for yourself and stick to them.
  2. Don't be pressurized into drinking more than you can
  3. Keep track of your drink (soft drink) drink to douse your thirst.
  4. Drink slowly. Take sips not gulps and drink non-alcoholic drinks (including lots of water) with alcoholic drinks after every few drinks
  5. Stick to drinking only one type of drink
  6. Eat before or while you are drinking; Salty snacks makes you thirsty and you tend to drink more
  7. Plan for weekly alcohol free days like no drinks for two or three days a week
